Hard work pays off ...
So after the eventful bumper fitting on Ryan's Mk5 last week it was time to get the thing looking right.
I made my way down wednesday evening and while the wheels were off being painted did my best on the exterior.
I gave the car a good going over here is a list of the process carried out to try and make this golf shine again
After a serious wash
-Clayed the body and windows
-Full 3m 3 stage polish
-hand polish to hold the shine
-sealed the paint using wax
-polished the glass (excluding windscreen)
-polished the exhaust
-flat and mopped the fresh paint on the new bumper
Then it was just a case of going round doing the finishing touches like the door shuts, window rubbers, scuttle tray etc
It ended up being a late night and i left 1am but I was happy with the finished product hear are a few Images from the night.
So after all the time spent helping get this 380BHP monster ready for the Ultimate Dubs show at the weekend I was informed that it would be going on the Samco Sport stand at show i was more than happy :)
On the way to the show the car did spit its dummy out and shatter a CV but after being towed by a Mk1 golf it made it and here are a few snaps of how it looked on the day !
Thanks for reading make sure you check back for updates !

Ryans's MK5 update
So after getting the bumper, grille and splitter all painted for Ryan's golf i drove over to Regal to get the thing fitted up...
to our shock the bumper was mile off fitting due to the car running a large front mount intercooler, wings that had been pulled too far and boost pipes! so rather than admit defeat we made it work
slowly working out what was in the way and cutting away at the rabbit spec bumper.
I left at 11 at night and i believe Ryan was there until 2am however he got it on and i think it look pretty good. Thanks to Ryan for the photo's and a HUGE thanks to Phil and Paul for the help !

19" 7 series
Had these to do last week 19" BMW 7 series wheels 2 of them were in a bad way having a previous re-furb (not the best) however they came out well
Time for a long awaited update ...
There has been loads going on recently firstly il start with Jon's caddy...
Came to me with typical british winter road dirt. gave it a nice wash including wheel arches door shuts etc
then once dried a top up on the paint with polish cleaning the glass and applying some plastic conditioner to the bumpers
last of all I spent some time polishing the wheels to bring some shine back to them after the winter salt has done its damage
